Costa Rica Tarrazu
This coffee comes from the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, one of the country’s most renowned and prestigious coffee-growing areas. Plantations are located at elevations of approximately 1,200–1,900 meters above sea level, allowing for slow cherry maturation and high bean density. The cool climate, pronounced day–night temperature variations, and volcanic soils contribute to a structured and vibrant flavor profile. The coffee is processed using the washed method, where cherries are depulped immediately after harvest and undergo controlled fermentation followed by washing. This process highlights clarity and well-defined acidity. The medium roast is tailored for espresso, balancing sweetness, acidity, and a full body.
