Coffee
Costa Rica Tarrazú
This coffee comes from the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, located on the highland plateau of the Central Valley and widely regarded as a benchmark coffee-growing region of the country. Tarrazú plantations are situated at elevations of approximately 1,200–1,900 meters above sea level, allowing for slow cherry maturation and high bean density. The region is characterized by a cool climate, significant day–night temperature variations, and well-drained volcanic soils. The coffee is processed using the washed method, where cherries are depulped immediately after harvest and undergo controlled fermentation followed by washing. This process highlights flavor clarity, bright acidity, and a well-defined cup structure. The light roast is tailored for alternative brewing methods, allowing the origin, aromatic complexity, and transparency of flavor to fully express.
